By using telemedicine services on the GetGLP Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Nature of Telemedicine

Telemedicine involves the use of electronic communications to enable healthcare professionals to provide medical consultation, advice, and follow-up remotely.

This may include:

  • Video consultations
  • Audio consultations
  • Messaging or digital communication
  • Remote monitoring of health information

Consent to Teleconsultation

By scheduling or participating in a teleconsultation, you voluntarily consent to receive healthcare services via telemedicine.

You understand that telemedicine consultations may be conducted without an in-person physical examination.

Limitations of Telemedicine

While telemedicine can improve access to healthcare, it may have limitations, including:

  • Inability to conduct certain physical examinations
  • Reliance on patient-reported information
  • Potential technical issues such as connectivity disruptions

In some cases, the healthcare professional may determine that an in-person consultation is necessary.

Medical Records

Information exchanged during teleconsultations, including health records, consultation notes, and treatment recommendations, may be stored securely as part of your medical record.

Privacy and Data Protection

Teleconsultation data is handled in accordance with the Platform's Privacy Policy and applicable laws governing personal data protection.

Patient Responsibilities

Patients participating in teleconsultations agree to:

  • Provide accurate medical information
  • Disclose current medications and health conditions
  • Follow treatment instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Right to Withdraw

You may withdraw consent for telemedicine services at any time by discontinuing use of the Platform. However, withdrawal of consent may limit your access to certain services offered through the Platform.
